After facing my own health crisis a decade ago, I embarked on a journey of healing, using food as medicine to restore my well-being. Inspired by my experience, I pursued retraining and now assist others in discovering their own paths to health. My own health challenges encompassed obesity, inflammation, and movement difficulties, compounded by societal pressures and learned behaviours.

Louise Essex is a qualified and experienced Nutritional Health and Wellbeing Therapist, holding a diploma from the Institute for Optimum Nutrition since 2018. She is also a level 3 Personal Trainer and has a diploma in Infrared Light Therapy (Photo Biomodulation Therapy).

Louise’s approach to Nutritional Therapy and Health Coaching

My passion lies in unravelling the complexities of why we make unhealthy choices, both mentally and physically, and guiding individuals toward sustainable lifestyle changes. By offering Personal Training and Movement Coaching, I delve into every facet that may hinder progress, addressing learned behaviours and empowering individuals to break free from unhealthy cycles.

Personal life

As a mother to three daughters, she has undoubtedly honed her resilience and developed excellent listening skills—attributes that prove beneficial in her clinic when connecting with clients.

Louise actively engages in daily movement including weight lifting. This commitment to physical activity not only reflects her dedication to maintaining a healthy lifestyle but also underscores her understanding of the positive impact of exercise on both physical and mental well-being.

Louise enjoys spending time with her family and walking her puppy, Huey, in all weather conditions showcases her commitment to a balanced and active lifestyle.
